If you know of a teacher/educator who is passionate about incorporating geographic concepts and skills into their classroom, please let them know about National Geographic’s “That’s Geography!” educator grant! Nat Geo is looking for innovative teaching professionals from ALL subject areas to help create, design, and implement lessons with geographic concepts embedded in them, with the eventual goal of sharing their work more broadly with colleagues.
Round 1 applications are due January 15th, 2020, although another round of grants will be opened after that with an application due date of July 2020. Budget requests for your application may range between $10,000 to $75,000 for a one or two year period.
