Circulation - Adjusting Due Dates

Circulation - Adjusting Due Dates

About

This article and video tutorial cover adjusting due dates using the Special Due Date helper and the Modify Due Dates wizard. Both the helper and wizard are useful when handling items like ILLs or situations like unplanned closed days. The  Special Due Date helper allows you to designate a due date  before checking out, while the Modify Due Dates wizard allows you to adjust dates after checking out. Don't use either functionality for regular renewals since doing so won't count as a renewal in the system.
To learn about renewing a patron's checkouts regularly, see Circulation - Renewing Checkouts.
