Properties

The Checkin Bookdrop wizard has many of the same properties settings as the CheckOut wizard, so we recommend opening the properties for both wizards side-by-side and duplicating what you have set up for CheckOut. Please refer to Circulation – Checking Out for more properties info.

Checking In Book Drop Items

1. Click the Checkin Bookdrop wizard (Circulation module > Common Tasks toolbar > Checkin Bookdrop).

2. Click the check-in date gadget.
3. Select your check-in date, e.g. the last day your library was open.
4. Leave the time set to 11:59PM.
5. Click OK.
6. Scan your item.
7. Watch the screen for pop-ups alerting you to holds, items going into transit, etc.
