4. If you have questions about settings, consult the
Knowledge Base or press
F1 (WorkFlows Help).
5. When you're finished making changes, click
OK.
6. When you close WorkFlows, select
Yes when prompted to save changes.

Placing Holds
To place a hold for a user in WorkFlows:
1. Open the
Place Hold wizard (Circulation module > Holds toolbar > Place Hold).
2. Pull up the user's account by scanning her card or using the
User Search helper.
3. Use the
Item Search helper to enter the item ID of the material the user wants to put on hold (or scan the item if in-hand).
4. Select the user's preferred pickup location.
The hold level should default to
Title so that the system knows to select the first copy available in your sharing group or library. You can select
Copy on a case-by-case basis if you need the exact copy that matches the item ID, e.g. you need to mend your library's copy once it's returned.
5. Click
Place Hold.
You'll see a confirmation pop-up with options to place another hold or remove or modify the hold you just placed.
