About
This article covers configuring properties so that staff see Extended Info Note pop-ups when checking out to a user and/or viewing their account.

Removing Notes
To remove a note from an account:
1. Open the
Modify User wizard (Circulation module > Users toolbar > Modify User).
2. Pull up the user's account.
3. Click the
Extended Info tab.
4. Click your cursor in the
NOTE field you want to remove.
5. Click the
Delete Row button (red X icon). This will delete the field entirely.
6. Click
Save.
Delete the field itself, not just the text in it.
If you only delete the text inside the field rather than the field itself, a blank note will appear when you view the account in
Display User >
Extended Info tab.
Deleting only the note text will leave a blank note on the account in Display User.
