1. Log in to OverDrive Marketplace (https://marketplace.overdrive.com)
2. From the blue task bar, select "Insights." This will take you to the consortium dashboard.
Under "Popular Reports," select "Title Status & Usage." Then select "Run new report."
5. In the “Report options” window, set your preferences in these fields:
a. Period Type: Specific
b. Start Date: Leave blank
c. End Date: Set to “Today” or the end of your reporting period
d. Formats: Select “Audiobook” or “eBook,” or “All formats” to include all
e. Audience: Narrow your report summary by audience (Adult, Juvenile, Young Adult). You can select more than one option from this menu by holding the Shift key while clicking on the categories you want.
f. Holdings: All
g. Status: In collection
6. Select “Update.”
7. Review your report summary in the left hand column. The title and copy counts are separated out by licensing model. In summary:
a. OC/OU: One Copy / One User. These are the titles we hold “permanently” in our collection whose licenses do not expire.
b. MA: earlier of x time or y checkouts: MA is an acronym for Metered Access. This license model expires when a certain number of checkouts have occurred or a certain amount of time has passed, whichever occurs first.
c. MA: by time: Metered Access that expires after a set amount of time, usually one year.
d. MA: by checkout: Metered Access that expires after a set amount of checkouts.
e. Titles: the number of unique titles in the collection.
f. Copies: the number of items in the collection, which may include multiple copies of certain titles.
8. It is necessary to manually add up the different categories for titles OR copies in order to discover the total number of titles OR copies. For example, OC/OU titles + MA: earlier of x time or y checkouts titles + MA: by time titles + MA: by checkout titles = total number of titles in the collection as of the reporting end date. The report summary cannot be exported, and so you must copy and paste it to another document or take a screenshot. “Create worksheet” will export an itemized list of individual titles in the collection.
