WorkFlows - Fonts, Themes and Tabs

About

This article and video tutorials (below) cover adjusting your WorkFlows desktop preferences, including the font, theme and tab settings.
To learn how to customize your toolbars, see WorkFlows - Toolbar Management.

Font

Customizing

To change the WorkFlows menu and / or window text font on your workstation:
1. Select Preference from the menu bar > Desktop > Font Settings...
Menu drop-downs to open Font Settings in WorkFlows

2. Uncheck Use system defaults for the Menu text and / or the Window text.
Font Settings and Font Chooser pop-up boxes with steps highlighted

3. Click a gadget to open a Font Chooser window.
4. Select your preferred font, font style and size.
5. If you like the Preview, click OK.
6. Once you've closed the Font Chooser window, click OK. Your new font(s) are now in effect.

Reverting to System Default

To revert back to the WorkFlows default fonts:
1. Select Preference from the menu bar > Desktop > Font Settings...
2. Check Use System defaults for the  Menu text and / or the  Window text.
3. Click OK.

Theme

To change the WorkFlows color theme on your workstation:
1. Select  Preference from the menu bar >  Desktop >  Desktop Setup...
2. Select your preferred theme from the drop-down ( anything but Classic).

3. Click OK.
4. If prompted to save properties when closing WorkFlows, click Yes.
When wizards appear at the top of the screen in WorkFlows and the color scheme is blue and grey, the WorkFlows desktop theme has changed to Classic. This theme is never recommended, but the workstation may revert to it when there has been a power outage.

To change the theme, follow the directions above.

Tabs

To have multiple wizards open at a time and be able to toggle between them using tabs:
1. Select  Preference from the menu bar >  Desktop >  Desktop Setup...
2. Check  Multiple windows mode.
3. Check Tabbed windows.

If you check only Multiple windows mode, your open wizard windows will stack one on top of the other without the aid of tabs for viewing.
4. Click OK.
5. Restart WorkFlows for the new tabs settings to take effect.
